Sitting in a cul-de-sac, the $42M home is the brainchild of architectural firm K2LD Architects and Interiors and is especially noteworthy for its many design accolades. The SIA Architectural Design Award in 2013 for ‘Residential Projects (Individual Houses)’ is one of the many accolades it’s got in the bag.

Termed the “Winged House” for its angular roof “wings”, the home features sweeping open-concept living spaces, walls of glass and clean angular lines. A definitive feature of the home is definitely its seamless use of Burmese teak wood to add depth, warmth and rustic quality to an otherwise modern and monochromatic colour palette
